First impression of the first edition. Attractive copy of the author's account of her grand tour of the major cities of Italy, including Milan, Venice, Rome, Florence, Naples and many smaller cities in between. Somehow she missed Ferrara. Nicely illustrated with photographic reproductions printed on glossy paper. This copy with the bookplate of Lydia Jackson Dale and a Christmas inscription to Dale from "E. R. S." on front free endpaper.
