Fine copy. “The Catalogue we now offer to the public notice contains a selection of the best productions of French, Italian and Spanish literature of the last century, and is the only Foreign Catalogue of importance that has appeared in London for many years.” The collection of French books includes over 12,000 titles, in the subjects of Theology, Law, Science, Art, Belles Lettres, History and Language. The Italian section includes nearly 1,500 titles focusing on the language and antiquities of Italy. The Spanish and Portuguese section lists nearly 500 titles and the there is a significant listing of books for sale on the Orient, and also a list illustrated books in French.

Bossange, Barthés et Lowell of Great Marlborough Street in London was one of the major booksellers working in the middle of the 19th century. (424).
