Bound in publisher's blue buckram cloth, spine gilt with title information;front hinge of volume I cracked yet sound. Very good set.

Second edition, originally published in 1905. This edition is entirely rewritten and contains a completely new series of englarged samples, 96 in total, each with full working detains on the page opposite. A third edition of Bean and McCleary's work was published in 1926, attesting to the importance of the work and the demand for a practical manual on the process of finishing cotton goods. Item #372
