The text addresses the origin of Spanish sheep, and the method used by Spanish shepherds in raising them. This is followed by a description of the various European farmers who are breeding these sheep, with some information on their methods and the results of their efforts. The final part of the book describes methods for keeping the sheep healthy, thus increasing the yield of very fine wool. There is a final bit of information on the method of cultivating alfalfa, an important element in the diet of Spanish Sheep.
